Surgery Monday 11am
Hi to all,
Thank you all for all your emails and phone calls. It was a good week. I got to spend time with my family and get ready for surgery. I'm ready to start this battle of surgery and chemo. My gut, which has been right, tells me it is going to be hard, but I will win.
All of your prayers, cards, gifts, meals, getting groceries, gift cards, coming to help me are making it A LOT easier and really touches my heart more than I can express. I tear up when I think about it and write about it. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful people in our lives.
My surgery is tomorrow at 11am. It will be at least 8 hours long. An email will be sent out as soon as I'm out. It will be late. I will be in the hospital until at least Thursday night if not until Friday. Kelli Gilmour will be in charge of my cell phone, as I will not have it next to me *smile*, so please don't be offended if your call is not returned for awhile.
As of right now (it could change), but I will not want to have visitors as I will be using these days at the hospital to get the most sleep I can to recover faster. And before I head home to my wonderful family, but two little crazy larry's :), that never stop. (I don't think I'll get as good of rest.) I have some of my best friends coming in to town to stay with us, Larry's parents, and our normal sitter helping. On top of all the other help from all of you. It should go very well.

I know you and many others are praying for me. I feel blessed with every prayer. I receive them all very personally and know that I can not do this alone. I also ask you to pray for Reeve and Kaylynn as they both got their first colds in 9 months today. And for Larry, so that he has the strength and patience to get through this long week for him.
